General Laborer – Special Projects
Monday–Friday
Location: Waunakee, WI
Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on experience
Patriot Properties is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support our carpentry, renovation, and property maintenance teams across multiple residential properties.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working both indoors and outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced environment where projects and responsibilities vary from day to day. General Laborers play a key role in supporting property improvements, renovations, maintenance projects, and operational needs throughout our portfolio.
No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, learning new skills, and building a long-term career within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary based on operational needs and may include:
Property clean-ups and job site preparation
Garbage, debris, and bulk item removal
Carpet, flooring, and material removal
Painting and general property improvements
Landscaping, grounds maintenance, and parking lot upkeep
Delivering appliances, materials, tools, and equipment
Assisting carpentry and maintenance teams with daily projects
Supporting apartment renovations and unit-turn projects
Assisting with special projects across multiple properties
Maintaining organized, safe, and professional work areas
Employees work closely with both our carpentry and maintenance teams and may be assigned to a variety of projects based on daily operational priorities.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
30-minute unpaid lunch
Full-time position (40 hours per week)
Occasional overtime and extended workdays may be available based on operational needs
Employees begin and end each workday at our Waunakee office and travel to job sites using company vehicles.

Qualifications
Valid driver's license required
Clean driving record required
Comfortable operating company vehicles and towing trailers safely
Trailer backing and maneuvering experience preferred
CDL is a plus, but not required
Ability to regularly lift and carry 50+ pounds
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Comfortable using a smartphone for communication, photos, and work updates
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel between job sites throughout the workday
Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and operational needs
