Full-Time Property Management Cleaner

Location: Sauk County Region (Baraboo Area)

Patriot Properties is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Full-Time Property Management Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall presentation of our residential apartment communities and short-term rental properties throughout the Sauk County region.

You will join a small, close-knit team that values collaboration, professionalism, and accountability while providing the independence to manage daily responsibilities. We are seeking an individual who takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure properties are clean, welcoming, and move-in ready.

The ideal candidate is proactive, able to identify areas that need attention without direct supervision, and comfortable adjusting priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

This role involves traveling between multiple properties and performing a variety of duties, including cleaning apartment units, preparing short-term rental properties, assisting with apartment showings, completing light maintenance tasks, and supporting day-to-day property operations. Responsibilities will vary based on occupancy levels, business needs, and operational priorities.

Participation in a rotating weekend on-call schedule is required to support short-term rental operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of apartment units following tenant move-outs

  • Assist with apartment showings by meeting prospective residents and providing access to available units

  • Clean and prepare short-term rental units between guest stays

  • Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, and grounds

  • Assist with carpet cleaning, spot treatments, and basic floor care

  • Perform light maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, changing HVAC filters, and assisting with basic property key management

  • Assist with small painting projects as needed

  • Support day-to-day property operations and special projects as assigned

  • Adapt daily responsibilities to meet business needs and ensure resident and guest satisfaction

  • Travel between multiple properties as required

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, hospitality, or housekeeping preferred

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods

  • Valid driver's license required

  • Reliable personal vehicle required

  • Working smartphone required and ability to utilize mobile applications, texting, and email for communication and scheduling

Additional Information

  • Employees are required to use their own reliable vehicle for travel between properties

  • Employees are reimbursed for approved mileage incurred while clocked in and traveling between company properties during their scheduled workday. Mileage reimbursement is reflected on each paycheck.
